Sean is an Advanced Care Paramedic and Operations Supervisor with one of Canada’s largest Paramedic Services.  Prior to becoming a Paramedic, Sean worked as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher for the Province of Ontario.  During the SARS outbreak in 2003, Sean held a key role in the development and execution of the Federal Quarantine Program at Toronto Pearson International Airport working for Health Canada.  Sean has over 20 years of event medicine experience ranging from small community events and festivals to large scale events such as: World Youth Day, SARS Stock, The Olympics, The PanAm Games and VELD.  He is a certified Advanced Wilderness First Aid Instructor as well as an Advanced Medical First Responder Instructor Trainer and has been teaching for over 20 years.   Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Odyssey team from decades of experience in event planning and management with various volunteer organizations.  He is currently working as a member of Odyssey’s Medical Direction Team to develop medical directives and training programs for our field and clinical teams.

Outside of Odyssey, Sean has a passion for Emergency Management and Emergency Preparedness. He has deployed internationally on humanitarian relief missions to Mexico, Haiti, Cambodia, The Gaza Strip and the Philippines and has been the team lead on several of these missions.
