Jordan Myers | Event Productions and Marketing

Jordan (aka: OPS Juliet) is one of Odyssey’s senior consultants for Event Production. He has a particular interest in mentoring new managers and capturing moments/telling the stories of #eventlife through images.

Inspiring others to learn, collaborate and do their best clinical work in the dynamic environment of mass gatherings is his main mission.

“…I count my time in dog years.

There are few occupations and clinical settings that match the satisfaction, the professional/personal growth, and camaraderie of working in the show. Reflecting on past seasons can seem like lifetimes ago, and isn’t something you adequately capture or unpack to your partner, friends or colleagues. Upon reflection, you start to realize the depth and vastness of these experiences. It is this community of people, this unique work and the emerging international collaborations that drive me each year to evolve, inspire and share with others what I’m learning about mass gatherings.”

Jordan is the City of Vancouver’s Film & Special Events Public Safety Project Manager.  He is also a project management consultant for a number of events in the US and Canada.  Before moving to Canada, Jordan was a teacher in Australia & South Korea.  Prior to that he worked as a Wilderness Ranger/Firefighter with the US Forrest Service, based in Bend Oregon and across the Western States & Rockies.  He was trained clinically as a Wilderness EMT (aka field medic) by the US military.  He also has a BSc of Kinesiology.

Jordan joined Odyssey in 2014 when Kevin Jones was looking for support with several national clients, at the start of the event season. The need to integrate multi-disciplinary clinical teams nationally and to work seamlessly with local community emergency resources, was and continues to be the top priority.
